ITALIA INDEPENDENT has hosted the Maps inauguration called Wall to Wall at the Wynwood District in Miami

Miami, December 6, 2013 - Lapo ElkannAndrea Tessitore and Giovanni Accongiagioco, ITALIA INDEPENDENT co-founders, kicked off the opening of the MAPS: Wall to Wall at Art Basel, in the heart of the Wynwood District in Miami during which was presented the "Whale Shark Series," a photographs collection by Kristian Schmidt a fashion photographer and wildlife; with the goal of raise awareness about the extinction of the whale shark. The famous photographers Kristian Schmidt and Shawn Heinrichs worked together to create a spectacular series of photographs that accentuate the phenomenal contrast between these giants of the sea and humans.

During the event ITALIA INDEPENDENT has presented exclusively "The Full Camouflage Capsule Collection", a new collection of eyewear characterized by optical frames with mirrored lenses , made with a special camouflage print, externally visible but invisible to the wearer. The collection pays tribute to the works of Kristian Schmidt able to capture the combination of human nature and animal

Miami, 6 dicembre 2013 – Lapo Elkann, Andrea Tessitore e Giovanni Accongiagioco, co-fondatori di ITALIA INDEPENDENT hanno dato il via all'apertura di MAPS: Wall to Wall all’interno di Art Basel, nel cuore del Wynwood District di Miami, durante il quale è stata presentata la "Whale Shark Series", una raccolta fotografica di Kristian Schmidt, fotografo di moda e fauna selvatica con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare circa l'estinzione degli squali balena, i famosi fotografi Kristian Schmidt e Shawn Heinrichs hanno collaborato per creare una spettacolare serie di fotografie che accentuano il contrasto fenomenale tra questi giganti del mare e gli esseri umani.

Per l’ occasione, ITALIA INDEPENDENT ha presentato in esclusiva The Full Camouflage Capsule Collection, una nuovissima collezione di occhiali caratterizzati da montature con lenti specchiate, realizzate con una particolare stampa camouflage, visibile esternamente ma invisibile per chi le indossa. La collezione ha reso omaggio alle opere di Kristian Schmidt capaci di catturare la combinazione della natura umana e animale.
